Jack is super patient and explains concepts rly well, and he offers a different perspective on math that schools don't offer, so I was able to grasp foreign concepts that I cldnt understand for 1.5 yrs of jc in a short amount of time. I joined late into j2, and he helped me improve my math from a U in prelims to an A for A lvls, so even if you feel its too late and need some emergency help for math (but of course starting earlier is better), wld definitely recommend this :")

Curriculum in Achevas is well planned and notes for each topic are concise, with important points colour coded for easy reference! Also, Mr Ng is a dedicated and caring teacher, always encouraging his students to strive on even during stressful times. Consultations after lessons are also very helpful! Furthermore, I would highly recommend Achevas TV as it is really easy to use and great for last minute revision!

Achevas is one of the best decisions that I have made in order for me to improve my understanding of Mathematics. Mr Ng was essential in breaking down each topic to its core in order for us to be able to understand it to our fullest. I highly recommend other JC students to go for Achevas to improve their Mathematics and for an overall great experience!

I especially enjoy Jack’s topical lessons where he goes in-depth and teaches the different methods to solve a problem in each topic. I really learn from his systematic way of teaching which includes going through a section of a topic on a summary sheet he provides for all students, and then proceeding to work on questions in a worksheet focusing on that section together with the class. He also makes sure that every single student understands the content before moving on to a next part. Nearing examinations, he will customise a mock paper suited to the content tested for each school the student is in, and execute timed trials, which he will then go through the solutions with the class. Starting off very weak in my H2 Mathematics in J1, I managed to attain an A grade in my A-Level Examination.

Jake is an amazing math tutor who always breaks extremely tough questions into simpler terms by going into the basics which makes these questions easier to understand and able to solve it better. Furthermore, with all the resources on Achevas TV, i do not feel the need to look at my lecture notes anymore as the video resources have helped me a lot in clearing my doubts and preparing for my a levels. Really glad to be a student of achevas and would recommend to everyone! (-:

Achevas is hands down the best jc math tuition center I’ve ever come across! Jack (the tutor) is very conscientious and is able to compress as well as simplify just about every single topic in the h2 math syllabus. he constantly keeps track of our math results in school and is more than happy to go through any worksheets/ answer any queries we have! Jack also tries his best to be engaging/interactive as well as injects humour into lessons to capture the attention of students and help students to memorise certain concepts/ steps more easily. Besides that, Jack also personally crafts notes that are simplified to ensure each and every student is able to comprehend and apply the different concepts. he also includes examples as well as explanations where necessary to ensure that the notes provided by Achevas is not only concise and easy to understand, but also not lacking in any crucial information in the syllabus. In fact, Achevas also has explanation videos for students to refer to at home (to cater to the auditory learners out there) as well as practice worksheets to ensure students have more than sufficient material to prepare for a levels:-) Overall, Achevas has truly been an enormous help to my h2 math grades, boosting my grades by about 5 grades since i first joined! Truly the gem of all tuition centers, highly recommended for sure!

Jack is an extremely experienced and dedicated teacher. He knows the JC H2 Math syllabus like the back of his hand and makes each and every tuition session a fruitful one for his students. Resources provided, whether it was the outlines and practices during tuition or videos uploaded on Achevas TV, aided me significantly in the understanding of important concepts as well as exposing me to a variety of question types on the different topics that my teachers in school do not focus on that much. This gave me an edge over my peers in school and increased my confidence in math, allowing me to better tackle any tests or examinations.

Really effective methods of teaching students and helped me to jump grades just within a few months of teaching!
