CONCEPT UNDERSTANDING
The topic will first be explained thoroughly, with the focus being on FOUNDATIONS, CONCEPTS and APPLICATION.
TOPICAL OUTLINING
Next, a demonstration of the outlining process for the topic will be given, after which students draft their own outlines based on their understanding of the topic.
PRACTICAL
With ONLY their outlines to refer to, students will then attempt the Achevas worksheet, which is designed to test the level of their understanding.
The results of the worksheet will reveal the concepts which have not been fully understood and where the outlines can be further improved. Revising their outlines will in turn reinforce their understanding of the topic.
This process can be repeated until the students achieve a complete understanding of the topic.
